Q: Is this Con only for creators?
A: No! Our con is open to both fans and creators alike! So if you want to see some of your favorite creators then come join our discord!Q: What projects are allowed at the con?
A: Our con is open to all projects that are indie products! This includes comics, animations, video games and multi-media projects!Q: Can mature projects join?
A: Of course! But we have a strict NSFW and gore ban on our server. So all projects that contain any disturbing content must post content warnings and not show them at our con.Q: Am I allowed to sell explicit material (such as pornographic comics or videos) on the Artist Alley?
A: Unfortunately no. Due to being online and the ability for children to lie about their age we will not allow 18+ vendors unless they an alternative store without explicit materials. (Which is why we're very strict on NSFW imagery on our server!)

What is Calliope Indie Con (CIC)?

Calliope Indie Con is an online convention that has a hard focus on independent animations, comics and video games. We want to create a safe place for creators to talk about their shows and for fans to geek out over their favorite shows even if creators/fans couldn't travel for a con.

Why Calliope? Seems like a strange name

Calliope is one of the nine muses in Greek mythology, who was the leader of the nine (other than Apollo).The creator of the con, Apollo loves Greek mythology and is also pagan! He named the con this as a way to honor the muse and show the creativity that each project has!

Plans for CIC in the next few years:

This was our first year doing a convention, so while we are extremely excited for our first con, we're even more excited for the future!
Eventually, CIC wants to start a charity/fund to help Indie creators and those in the industry keep working in the field. And we also wish to start a bi-annual convention, where we will hold Job Panels and ways for indie creatives to post or get gigs! If you wish to be apart of our future, please feel free to go fill out our mod or artist application and join our team!
